The Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) Report is a document that presents the status of implementation of regional and selected provincial programs and projects on a quarterly basis. The projects that are covered by the RPMES Report include all foreign-assisted (loan or grant funded), interprovincial projects implemented in two or more provinces in the region, all area development projects, nationally-funded projects implemented in the region and other projects considered critical by the Office of the President and the Regional Development Council. As an enhancement to the Report, it now includes critical and high-impact projects that are implemented at the provincial level.
The preparation of the RPMES Report lies with the NEDA Regional Office, as the Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) Secretariat. Inputs to the Report are generated from concerned Regional Line Agencies (RLAs), Local Government Units (LGUs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs). Where verification or validation of reports are needed, project visits will be conducted by the Project Monitoring Committee.
The RPMES Report is submitted to the NEDA – Project Monitoring Staff, the Secretariat of the National Project Monitoring Committee. Copies of the Report are likewise distributed to the ten (10) Congressmen, five (5) Governors of Region 2 and other stakeholders as guide in their pursuit of development undertakings in the region.
