Southern Isabela Hospital seeks level II classification
SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela, June 7 (PIA) – After its total renovation, the Southern Isabela General Hospital (SIGH) is now eyeing to get the Level II classification and increase its bed capacity from 50 to 150.
Rhine Rene Dulluog, General Services Officer, said that with the renovation, the SIGH has been transformed into a modern hospital through the help of the Department of Health’s Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP).
NEDA R02 Conducts Orientation on Results Monitoring and Evaluation (RME)
Tuguegarao City - The Project Monitoring and Evaluation Division (PMED) of NEDA R02 being the Secretariat of the Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) conducted a 2-day Orientation on Results Monitoring and Evaluation (RME) participated in by the RPMC members of Region 02and its Project Monitoring Team. The orientation was conducted on November 27-28, 2014 at the Pamegafanan Hall, NEDA Bldg., Carig Sur, Tuguegarao City.
The orientation was intended to provide the RPMC and PMT members the basic knowledge about the RME System, its policy context and relationship with existing M&E systems and its place in the project cycle. The orientation was also aimed to provide the participants with the skills necessary in undertaking RME activities, the tools and techniques and forms to be used during field monitoring visits.
Southern Isabela General Hospital undergoes facelift
SANTIAGO CITY, Isabela, June 7 (PIA) - -The Southern Isabela General Hospital (SIGH) has undergone a major make-over after the Department of Health (DOH) allocated a total of P246.96 million for the construction of a five-storey building.
Rhine Rene Dulluog, General Services Officer, said that they catered to patients even under the trees and at the corridors of the old dilapidated hospital for several years just to accommodate the growing number of patients here.
RPMC-PMT and NEDA-MES conducted a Joint Field Monitoring Visit to major programs and projects implemented in the Province of Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya
Tuguegarao City - The RPMC-Project Monitoring Team together with the Monitoring and Evaluation Staff (MES) of NEDA Central Office conducted a joint Field Monitoring Visit (FMV) to major programs and projects implemented in the Provinces of Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya on September 17-19, 2014. The recently conducted FMV during the third quarter of 2014 is a regular activity of the RPMC-PMT based on the approved CY 2014 Monitoring Plan.
The major programs and projects visited are as follows: a) Provincial Programs and Projects implemented by the Province of Quirino; b) Solano Rural Health Unit under the Health Sector Reform Agenda; c) Mila and Palabotan Agrarian Reform Community (ARC) under the Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project, Phase III (ARISP III); and d) Colocol Integrated Communal Irrigation System I, both in the province of Nueva Vizcaya.
The joint monitoring activity likewise visited and validated three (3) major programs/projects in the Province of Quirino which are the Water Sports and Tourism Complex located within the Capitol Hills in Cabarrogis, Quirino; Quirino Agricultural Credit for the Quirino Integrated Agricultural Development Project (QIADP) which is a grant from KOICA and the Quirino Provincial Medical Center. A staff from the PPDO briefed the team on the status of implementation of these major priority programs and projects implemented by the Provincial Government of Quirino.
BRO program contributes to poverty alleviation in Isabela
ILAGAN CITY, Isabela, June 8 (PIA) - - Officials of Isabela provincial local government unit have affirmed that the Brotherhood (BRO) program here has significant contribution to development and poverty eradication in the province.
During the project monitoring visit of the members of the Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) of the Regional Development Council Region 2, acting governor Karen G. Abuan said the BRO program of the present administration has already served more than 10,000 farmer-families provincewide.
